Aylesbury's Lost Pubs
Aylesbury's Lost Pubs - Some old photos of pubs in Aylesbury that no longer exist.
Aylesbury Pubs Which Have Closed Down
Lost Pubs of Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
On this page I have posted some old photos of Aylesbury pubs that have been closed down for various reasons. Most of these old images of pubs were taken by Peter Locke in the 1970's. Aylesbury has changed drastically since these photos were taken. At one time there were over 100 pubs in Aylesbury and the town was a fraction of its current size back then. This huge number of pubs for a town of fairly modest proportions was due to its being the main market town for the region.
